INAUGRAL TOMMY'S GOLF FUNDRAISER A GREAT DAY ON THE GREEN

What a great day the team at Tommy's organised!  They managed to raise over $14,000 on the day towards Given for You's Swim Bags project.  Our swim bags cost $25 per child and include a bag, togs, towel and goggles.  The aim is to enable all children to participate in their school swim programme.  It means that children come to school on the days when swim lessons are scheduled instead of staying home.  There are many benefits to this which include fitness, water awareness and safety, and fun with friends.  

Given for You has already trialled this programme with Kahurangi school in Strathmore, and we are now excited about how many other schools this funding will help over the 2018 year, starting with Cannon's Creek School.
